  4. For the first time in this class, the powertrain features a compact engine which allows for really low fuel consumption values and integrates a compact hybrid module with an electric motor.
  • Indeed, the engine is a 1.8 liters 4-cylinders gasoline unit, which showcases the so-called "Diesotto" cycle, combining controlled auto ignition (CAI), direct fuel injection and turbocharging, for a total output of 238 hp (+20 hp by the electric motor), comparable to that of a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine.
  • As a result, the F700 can reach more-than-acceptable performances (a top speed limited to 200 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.5 seconds)
  • An average fuel consumption of 53.3 mpg (23.8 km per liter).
